Installation help
Do I need an account first?
On Windows, yes: make one, then press Play on any game. On a console your profile becomes an account the first time you sign in; give it a password under Settings to use this site too.
Windows warns me about the download.
The client isn't signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show an unknown publisher warning. Continue only if you downloaded it from Universal.
How do I update?
Download again and replace the old files (keep your AppSettings.xml). Each platform shows its version and exactly when it was last updated; Build details has the checksum to compare.
Can I play with friends on other platforms?
Yes. Every platform joins the same servers, with the same friends, characters and items.
Where can I find the client logs?
Tell staff what you were doing and on which platform. On Windows, the log is in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Roblox\logs; on a console, roblox.log sits next to the game.
